Ivory Dota 2 Team Reaches Semis at APAC Predator League 2025

Newly-formed Filipino Dota 2 squad Ivory made an impressive run to the semifinals of the APAC Predator League 2025, attributing their success to confidence, pride, and hard work.

Coached by seasoned veteran John “Teehee” Abanto, who has previously worked with teams like TNC Pro Team, Smart Omega, and XERXIA, Ivory topped their group, defeating Indian team Whoops! and Malaysia’s Sentry Symphony Esports to reach the playoffs.

Ivory’s Edric “Dric~” Ricafuente expressed pride in their rapid progress, stating, “In three months, we’ve achieved so much.” Fellow teammate Glenard “Rupido” Rugay added that their confidence came from familiarity with their opponents and their consistent victories over them.

Despite their strong showing, Ivory was eliminated in the semifinals by Malaysia’s Myth Avenue Gaming, who advanced to the grand finals and clinched the Predator Shield with a 2-0 sweep over Team Helios.

Reflecting on their performance, Dric~ noted, “We could have gone further if we played better.” Looking ahead, the team is preparing for future tournaments like ESL DreamLeague.
