Newport World Resorts, in collaboration with PAGCOR, has generously contributed PHP10 million worth of motorcycles to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
This donation encompasses 18 Honda CB500F motorbikes, along with additional funds allocated for fuel and maintenance expenses. The primary objective is to enhance the operational capabilities of the PNP, specifically in Pasay City and Parañaque City, where the Newport World Resorts community is located.
The facilitation of this donation was undertaken by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), with the goal of fortifying patrolling efforts and increasing police presence, particularly in the Pasay-Parañaque area of Metro Manila.
Kingson Sian, President and CEO of Newport World Resorts, expressed appreciation for the chance to contribute to community safety. He underscored that this initiative is part of a larger endeavor involving industry partners in Entertainment City, aimed at empowering local law enforcement to effectively serve and safeguard communities.
The positive part of being a licensed and regulated gaming entity is that aside from proper taxes being collected by the government, it also contributes to community development as well. Newport World Resorts has their own online gaming platform for their members and having a safer environment for their operations just brings better services to their players.
