In celebration of its upcoming 90th anniversary this Wednesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) is raising the minimum jackpot for all lottery games to PHP90 million ($1.55 million).
Starting Tuesday, the new prize threshold will apply to Lotto 6/42, SuperLotto 6/49, and UltraLotto 6/58, with MegaLotto 6/45 and GrandLotto 6/55 joining the lineup on Wednesday.
PCSO clarified that if the current jackpot already exceeds PHP90 million on the draw dates, it will remain at the higher amount. For jackpots under PHP90 million, the additional funds will be covered by the PCSO’s prize fund. Once these special jackpots are won, the prizes will return to their regular levels.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles shared, “We are thrilled to celebrate our 90th anniversary and show our appreciation for the loyal support of our players. This special promotion reflects our dedication to providing not only entertainment but also hope and assistance to communities.”
As a government agency, the PCSO organizes charity sweepstakes, races, and lotteries to sustain funding for various social programs, with sweepstakes and lottery games as its main offerings. Pacific Online Systems Corporation manages the digital platforms, including the application and e-lotto versions, of the PCSO’s games.
