RGB International Bhd, a Malaysian distributor of gaming products, confirmed the successful delivery and installation of 1,968 slot machines for PAGCOR’s Casino Filipino properties. This delivery marks a major milestone in the ongoing PAGCOR slot machine upgrade, aimed at modernizing self-operated casinos across the Philippines.
A representative from RGB expressed confidence in the outcome and emphasized the project’s smooth execution. “We are pleased to share that the recent bulk order from PAGCOR has been delivered and commissioned as scheduled,” the spokesperson stated.
RGB also distributed the machines progressively to Casino Filipino branches nationwide. This phased rollout ensured all units reached their designated sites on time and in proper working condition.
This development follows RGB’s earlier announcement in May about its multi-million-dollar contract with PAGCOR. Valued at US$81.3 million, the agreement covers 1,968 electronic gaming machines, along with accessories, LED signage, and display systems. The deal forms a core part of the PAGCOR slot machine upgrade, which aligns with the agency’s broader plan to enhance performance before transitioning to a purely regulatory role by 2028.
As part of the rollout, RGB supplied a diverse mix of world-class slot machines. The shipment included 888 units each from industry giants Aristocrat and Light & Wonder, 150 from Japanese manufacturer Konami, and 42 from South Korea’s KL Saberi.
By completing this large-scale delivery, RGB reinforces its role as a key supplier in Southeast Asia’s regulated gaming sector. Moreover, the successful implementation of this PAGCOR slot machine upgrade demonstrates the Philippine regulator’s commitment to revitalizing casino infrastructure ahead of future privatization.
