PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco praised Solaire Resort North on Saturday, calling Bloomberry Resorts Corporation’s newest luxury development an instant landmark in Quezon City. During the formal opening of the second Solaire-branded integrated resort in Metro Manila, he highlighted that this event marks a major milestone for both the Philippine gaming and tourism sectors.
He confidently stated, “This will undoubtedly become a premier leisure and entertainment destination in this part of Metro Manila.”
Strategically positioned on a 1.5-hectare site, Solaire Resort North now stands as the first and only five-star integrated resort and casino serving northern Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
Mr. Tengco further emphasized the massive effort behind the project. He explained, “This jewel did not materialize overnight. It required years of precise planning, the tireless work of hundreds—if not thousands—of individuals, and immense investment. The result is a world-class development in a class of its own.”
He added that Solaire Resort North raises the industry’s standards. “From now on, this integrated resort will serve as the benchmark for future developments. For that, we thank the vision and persistence of Mr. Ricky Razon and his exceptional team.”
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos led the inauguration, joined by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and other dignitaries.
Meanwhile, Bloomberry Resorts Corporation Chairman and CEO Enrique Razon Jr. explained that Solaire Resort North aims to elevate the entertainment experience in the area. He said, “We aim to meet the rising tourism demand north of Metro Manila and in the rapidly developing nearby provinces.”
He continued, “Our goal is to stimulate Quezon City’s economy by drawing both local and international visitors to discover what the city has to offer.”
