ONIC Philippines officially revealed that the hero Joy will receive the M6 World Championship commemorative skin. This skin marks the team’s triumph in the tournament. The decision celebrates the standout performance of jungler Cyric “K1ngkong” Perez. He secured an impressive 87.5% win rate using Joy, with seven victories in eight games during the championship.
Paul Denver “Coach Yeb” Lintag Miranda, ONIC Esports Vice President for Esports Franchise, shared that Joy perfectly represents the team’s style and spirit. He highlighted her dynamic skills and vibrant personality. He also recalled how the crowd would erupt with excitement whenever ONIC selected Joy in their matches. This showed how the hero became a symbol of the team’s identity.
Alongside Joy’s commemorative skin, Finals MVP Grant “Kelra” Pillas will help design a skin for his chosen hero, Beatrix. Known as the “Gold Standard,” Kelra made history as the first player to earn Finals MVP honors in three major Mobile Legends tournaments: MPL, MSC, and the M Series. He expressed pride in co-designing the Beatrix skin. He called it a tribute to his legacy in MLBB Esports and a reflection of his connection to Beatrix’s versatility and precision.
Both commemorative skins will release in September 2025 as part of the collaboration between ONIC Philippines and MOONTON Games. This partnership continues to celebrate the team’s achievements and its star players.
