ZOL Esports, the Philippine VALORANT team, claimed second place at the APAC Predator League 2025 after a hard-fought grand final loss to Alter Ego. Featuring newcomers Yousef “Hotsauz” El-Yousef and Emmanuel “Emman” Morales, the team defied expectations in Group D. They defeated favorites BOOM Esports 13-7 in their crucial decider match. Despite entering as underdogs, ZOL made an impressive run by sweeping Xipto Esports 2-0 in the semifinals, including a dominant 13-0 map victory.

Although ZOL fell short in the final, the team expressed strong pride in their performance. Franz Kevin “Kevzii” Dingal highlighted their rapid progress, stating, “Even with a new roster and only two weeks of practice, we saw the team’s growth.” Moreover, looking ahead to the VALORANT Challengers SEA 2025, Emman confidently declared, “I believe we can win [VCT Challengers SEA].”

The VCT Challengers SEA 2025 Split 1 will begin on January 16, setting the stage for more intense competition.
