DigiPlus Partners with Bayad to Expand OTC Payment Options

Philippine-listed online gaming firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp has entered into an exclusive partnership with bills payment service provider Bayad to expand over-the-counter (OTC) or cash-based payment options for its players nationwide.

DigiPlus operates several popular gaming platforms in the country, including BingoPlus, the Philippines’ first government-approved online bingo platform; ArenaPlus, a sportsbook; and GameZone, which offers casual and arcade-style games.

The newly signed partnership makes DigiPlus the exclusive gaming partner of Bayad for OTC cash transactions. With this agreement, users can now make cash-ins or deposits for their DigiPlus gaming accounts at more than 800 Bayad Center branches and partner outlets located in malls, supermarkets, and convenience stores across the Philippines.

Bayad, which is accredited by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as an electronic money issuer, will soon expand the service to include cash-outs and mobile app transactions, giving players more flexible options to manage their funds securely.

According to Eusebio Tanco, chairman of DigiPlus, the company’s goal is to offer “engaging entertainment while maintaining safe and reliable services.” He added that the partnership enhances customer convenience and reinforces DigiPlus’ commitment to player protection and responsible gaming.

Ray Espinosa, chairman of Bayad, described the collaboration as a “significant step forward” in expanding access to secure digital and physical payment channels. He emphasized that the initiative promotes inclusive financial services while supporting responsible entertainment.

DigiPlus is also pursuing international expansion. In September, the company filed for three online gaming licenses with the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB) in South Africa and launched its first overseas brand, GamePlus, in Brazil. The company aims to introduce BingoPlus to the Brazilian market by 2026.
