Greg Hawkins has officially stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Bloomberry Resorts Corp., solidifying his position after serving in an acting capacity since February. This appointment marks a strategic move for the company as it continues to strengthen its executive team and sharpen its competitive edge in the casino and integrated resort industry. Bloomberry, the developer and operator of Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Metro Manila and Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino in South Korea, made the announcement through a recent filing to the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Hawkins, whose appointment took effect on July 1, brings extensive experience in gaming and hospitality to the table. Notably, he previously led the same company as president of Solaire Resort and Casino from 2013 to 2016. This continuity, combined with his deep understanding of Bloomberry’s operations and vision, positions him to drive future growth and operational excellence. Prior to rejoining Bloomberry earlier this year, Hawkins held leadership roles with major industry players, including Crown Resorts in Australia and The Star Sydney, showcasing a global track record in top-tier integrated resorts.
Now officially confirmed as COO, Hawkins will play a pivotal role in executing Bloomberry’s strategic initiatives, including the anticipated opening of Solaire Resort North in Quezon City. As the company scales its operations, his leadership is expected to enhance performance, streamline execution, and deliver sustained value to shareholders and guests alike.
